Blast down the beach

Want to blast down the beach of Ameland in a blocart? It can be done at Ameland Adventure! Experience the power of the wind in the sail and ride at high speed along the beach. Our certified blocart instructor will be happy to teach you the basic techniques and secrets of the blocart.

Blocarting on Ameland

A blocart is a buggy with three wheels and a sail. The wind ensures that you can glide over the beach at high speeds. Blocarting, basically beach sailing, is a beach activity full of action and adventure. After a brief introduction and the necessary instructions, we will teach you how to trim with a blocart, rotate, turn and speed up the turns. Ride with speeds of up to 10 to 60 kilometers per hour.
 

Blocarting for groups

Blocarting is possible for just 1 person, but is also very suitable for groups up to 30 people. Blocarting or beach sailing is perfect as part of a sports day, company outing or teambuilding activity. It’s not difficult to learn and often you can be an experienced beach sailor after only 10 minutes. How fast do you want to blast down the beach with the wind in the sails?

Includes: Required equipment, instruction, guidance, insurance and 9% VAT.
Clothing advice: Athletic clothing and/or comfortable clothing. Dress for the weather. In sunny weather: sunglasses and/or sun block.
For who: For all types of groups and occasions.
When: Year round.
Number of people: From 1 to 30 people.
Minimum age: 12 years. For children under 12 years we have double seaters, so they can then join an adult.
